#36 Second Semester, new classes & new friends?

Hey guys,

Last week the new semester began and I wanted to tell you a bit about my new classes. I have completely new classes now and at my High School, you always have four blocks, mine are English, Dance, Drama, and Spanish. As a German, you wouldn’t expect Dance or Drama to be a class at school but in America, everything is possible :D

I really like my new classes and my teachers are great! English is just like German, writing essays, reading books, and stuff but as an exchange student, I am required to take it. My dance class is really cool and my teacher was super interested when I told her I am from Germany.

I already knew quite some people and it was not like the beginning of the school year. Since I also met a lot of new people I heard the typical questions again like “Do they have a different language in Germany?” “Are there like Nazis everywhere?” and “So you speak German?”.

In Dance, I said a sentence in German and everyone was super impressed because they thought I would just fake it haha :D 

I am pretty sure I will find some new friends and I might audition for my school's play so wish me luck, maybe I will get a part!
